Nestled along IL Route 173 and Caledonia Road you will find our quaint
little Village of Caledonia, Illinois. The village is home to 200+/- residents.
Established in 1854 and incorporated in 1996.

Though it is tempting to burn other household or personal items in a backyard fire pit situation, Residential open burning is the burning of clean yard waste, grass clippings, weeds, tree trimmings, etc. it is against the Village of Caledonia Ordinances. Fines may be enforced
Please be considerate of your neighborhood. When burning damp leaves or wood it gives off lots of smoke and be a bit stinky. Be aware of the conditions, especially if it's even a little windy.

The Village Board meets once a month on the third Tuesday of each month.
The meeting starts at 6:00 p.m. and it is at the Caledonia Congregational Church,
located on the corner of Oak and Randolph Streets.
